Steal An Egg Rift & Abyss Overlord Guide
The reported Abyss Overlord pattern is to clear the power crystals, then attack the lowered hand or arm during its vulnerable window. Keep following the encounter's current objective instead of repeatedly attacking an unavailable target.
Before entering a Rift
Published guides describe a repeating Rift encounter, commonly at a 30-minute interval. Use your server's warning, portal and countdown rather than a website timer to decide when to enter.
The lobby pet-sacrifice machine is a separate activity. Seeing that machine does not mean the boss portal is currently open.
Follow the available damage window
- Enter the Rift when your server announces an available encounter.
- Clear the indicated power crystals while avoiding the boss's attacks.
- Watch for the hand or arm to lower into the arena. Attack that exposed target when the game makes it vulnerable.
- Continue responding to the next crystal or attack objective until the encounter ends.
- After a successful clear, inspect your actual Boss Tokens and Mastery progress.
Both the September 5 TechWiser walkthrough and the September 9 Eldorado walkthrough describe crystal objectives followed by attacks on the hand or arms. This guide does not add a separate, verified full-body phase.
If your hits do not reduce the boss's health
Check the active objective first. An uncleared crystal objective and a hand that is not yet in its attackable window call for different actions. Finish the indicated crystals, avoid attacks and watch for the next exposed target.
If that sequence no longer matches your server, follow its readable objective. The reviewed sources do not establish universal phase timers, boss health, minimum damage or a guaranteed solo method.
If you cannot find an active Rift
Check whether the server is actually announcing a boss encounter. Do not mistake the permanent-looking lobby exchange interface for an active boss portal. The official Angels vs Demons listing is also not a timer for each Rift encounter.
After the fight
Use Boss Tokens and the documented shop reference before spending. For the separate three-pet exchange, follow Rift sacrifices.
