Beginner guidance connects stealing, hatching and income. If you can pick up eggs but lose them on the way back, use the stealing guide before chasing a harder target.

The Rift boss guide and archived Rift pet exchange describe different earlier activities. The Vault guide covers the cave's parts checklist.
For the lobby machine with three egg slots, use Dr. Scramble's Lab. Read that request before hatching ingredients or following an older pet-sacrifice recipe.
The Vault is a separate parts task
The Stolen Experiment Vault guide starts with the Abyss Ocean cave and distinguishes the two map pickups from three Drone Parts. For newer Revenge reporting and official listing dates, use Updates. Do not substitute the Rift pet-sacrifice recipe for the Vault checklist.

Start with the beginner guide, then use hatching or stealing help for the step that is failing.
Where are Rift instructions?
Use Rift & Abyss Overlord for the documented boss route and Rift sacrifices for the archived pet exchange. If the interface asks for eggs under Dr. Scramble's Lab, use the separate Lab guide instead.
